On The Day – Quick Guide

On the day information for performers and spectators

For Performers

  • Arrive 30 minutes before your class to allow time to find your room and settle.
  • Bring your original music and any required copies.
  • Follow signage and ask a steward if needed. Room allocations are published in this programme.
  • Keep noise to a minimum in corridors and foyer areas.

For Supporters

  • Audience tickets are available for purchase on the door.
  • Friends and family are welcome to attend and enjoy performances throughout the day.

In the Rooms

  • Wait for applause before entering or leaving. Do not interrupt performances or adjudication.
  • No video recording permitted.
  • Photos may be taken during certificate/trophy presentations only.
  • If you would like us to use your images on our website, please email them to photos@sfmad.co.uk.
  • Phones must be switched to silent or fully off.

Programme Symbols

  • 🚶 Another performance in a different room close to this time.
  • 🎹 Festival accompanist booked.
  • 🏆 Trophies available for awards.
